About me
Hello, I'm Tina, and I've spent my life teaching maths
I'm a former Director of Mathematics and Assistant Head of Mathematics, with over 25 years of teaching experience in UK secondary schools and in India.
I've also had the privilege of mentoring trainee teachers and Early Career Teachers, helping them find their own way of making maths make sense. I'm genuinely passionate about the subject, especially about encouraging young women to carry on and take A-level maths.
These days I tutor privately, because one-to-one is where I see the biggest change. It gives me the time to listen, to find the gap, and to explain an idea in as many different ways as it takes until a student says, "oh, I get it now."

KS3 lessons are £45 per hour, GCSE £55 per hour and A-Level £65 per hour.
Both. Online lessons run on Teams, and in-person lessons are available around Cheltenham, Tewkesbury and Gloucestershire.
Most students have weekly lessons. Fortnightly lessons are also available. For GCSE students, weekly lessons are recommended.
Many GCSE students start in Year 10 and stay through to their exams in Year 11.
